Instruction Lesson Cricket4YOU – Entry Level Cricket
Methodology
The Cricket4YOU entry level cricket is a program in which pupils learn cricket in a simple and challenging way within four lessons. Cricket in a way that suits the pupil individually. A "tailor-made" program with the KnS C4Y app as support to eventually be able to create your "own cricket game" which you can play with your friends at school, at home or wherever. But even without the KnS C4Y app, the pupils can get started with their "own" cricket game after only four weeks.

Organization of the lesson
The pupils are introduced to cricket activities during their classes. The lesson always ends with playing a simple cricket game.
In the third and fourth sessions, the lessons are expanded with the challenge for pupils to work with alternative materials during the cricket activities and come up with their 'own' rules. The KnS C4Y app offers the pupils some form of guidance for this.
There are sample lesson cards for the teacher. Each lesson card has a learning objective based on the game of cricket. Each lesson card contains a warm-up, two activities, an end game, the materials needed for the lesson, variations in methodology, coaching tips and an assignment for the pupils. In addition to the lesson cards, there is a cricket library for the teachers in which the teacher can find more information about the technical implementation of the cricket activities, variation forms and there are illustrations of the end game and the lesson activities for clarification. The teacher can also put together a lesson himself. When you log in you will find the cricket library with the complete set of lesson cards, including the separate warm-up activities, lesson activities and possible end games.
Differentiation and coaching tips
The cricket activities are set up in such a way that both the cricketer and non-cricketer can perform the activity. Differentiation during the classes is necessary to be able to challenge each pupil at his or her own level. On the lesson card and in the cricket library there are various options available that make an activity either easier or more difficult.
In support of the coach there are tips on the lesson cards, as well as in the cricket library, that you could use in your own lessons.
