Lotte Schmidt
Lotte is 13 years old, lives in The Hague and has been playing cricket at HBS C.C. for over 4 years.
Lotte likes to play cricket with friends. What she likes most about cricket is the interaction within the game of cricket. Learning from your mistakes and thereby getting better. Lotte likes cozy little competitions with friends, she would prefer to play such games on an open field near where she lives. Thanks to her participation in the youth advisory committee, she can think along about the details of the festivals and help to organize these events. She hopes that in the future she can also organize nice tip and run tournaments. She believes that too few people in The Netherlands know what cricket is and she hopes that by helping out herself, more will be organized, and more children will pick up the game of cricket.
