Sophie Langeveld
As a 17-year-old, Sophie has been playing at HBS C.C. in The Hague for 3 years.
If you ask Sophie what she likes about cricket, she says the following: “Having fun with friends. The great thing about cricket is that it is both an individual sport and a team sport. For example, you are largely responsible for scoring runs yourself when batting, but you also have to make sure that the opponent is having a hard time when fielding. ”
Sophie would like to help and organize cricket activities. She is sure that children will actually like cricket and want to participate! Sophie has many ideas for putting Cricket4YOU on the map in The Netherlands. The youth advisory committee is a nice group of young cricketers who would like to share their ideas and turn them into actions.
